My Professional Journey

Five key stages of the Ayming adventure

Home > Careers > Life @ Ayming > My Professional Journey

By joining Ayming, you will have the opportunity to explore multiple avenues within your professional career path.

This is in part thanks to the company’s dynamic learning and development team, not to mention the opportunities for international experience. We create a career path that meets your individual goals and aspirations.

You will be given the opportunity to regularly meet with your line manager, who will listen to, encourage and challenge you to push your limits to develop your full potential. Each professional path is unique—that’s why we have devised key steps so that everyone can build their own journey. If you wish, you can move, change jobs, change countries… you choose your professional life. At Ayming, you are the #bossofyourworklife.

Continuous feedback

At the end of each assignment or project, a review is carried out between managers and employees. Continuous improvement of the way we work is essential and we have set up a feedback culture that allows us to quickly identify both the successes and improvement potential of each employee.

Together we then create a progress plan to guarantee the success of the professional path’s next steps. In addition to these regular meetings, each ‘Aymer’ has a review to formalise their training, development or vocational retraining needs and wishes.

Ayming’s emphasis on excellence and teamwork in order to achieve shared success was something that stood out for me as a huge positive.

People review

Every year, we carry out an internal review of all employees to build our future HR plan. The goal? To ensure optimal performance within the company. We believe that we need to balance the equation of well-being at work and performance, so that everyone is driven by a common sense of  purpose and engagement. This HR review ensures that we all contribute to the company’s performance thanks to our varied skills and talent. By identifying these skills and talent, we continuously reinvent our organisation to make it more successful for us and our clients.

Do you have a professional dream or idea for your development? Once you have two years continuous service, and with the support of your manager, you can take part in the ‘Boss of my work life’ programme. We believe in our colleagues and want to listen to what you want your next professional steps to be. Get started by presenting your dream to the Regional Career Committee. If successful your next step is to present your project to the Group Career Committee where a personalised itinerary will be designed to help you achieve your goal. You suggest, we support.

Group Career Committee

This is the final step of the #BossOfMyWorkLife programme. As a continuation of the Regional Career Committee, each selected project must be approved by the Group Career Committee. What kind of request? International mobility or an innovation project impacting different businesses. You present your plan to the Executive Committee (ExCom) members. We listen to it and, if possible, we make it come true.
